I think this video has given the false impression that the Cavalier was an especially good metal clarinet. It is just a standard student model. But when fixed up well and perhaps even tweaked by a really good instrument tech, it will play well. Put that in the hands of a good jazz player who chooses his music to hide the places where the instrument is out of tune (or plays without accompaniment), you'll have people going out in search of that model.
