Thanks to Richard A. for letting me review this! Note that there is a Master Model for plain Evette and a Master Model for Evette & Schaeffer. Serial #K8682, perhaps from 1959. Barrel: Using 64.0mm Ridenour barrel, since this did not come to me with a barrel. Bore LH joint top: 14.7mm Bore LH joint at bottom: 14.6mm Intonation results taken when playing loud and not lipping. See how to interpret these results on the Model Comparison Page. For this test, I pulled x at the barrel and x in the center for this horn.
Intonation summary: Very good. Much like an R13 of the same time period. Key work quality: This particular clarinet was stored in a very damp environment. 4 screws were not able to be removed. Two posts were cut and replaced. The general key quality would be like a Buffet of the period. This clarinet is most appropriate for: Anyone. |
