Intonation results taken when playing loud and not lipping. See how to interpret these results on the Model Comparison Page.
For this test, I pulled 1.9 mm at the center, and 1.3 at the barrel.
Intonation summary: This is typical for the older narrow bore instruments, where the lower register is quite sharp. This is a lovely antique instrument.
Key work quality: High quality nickel silver keys. This instrument is sturdy enough, but not designed for marching band.
This clarinet is most appropriate for: Students, beginning to fairly advanced. It would be especially nice for an adult returning to playing the clarinet.
