Who was a good clarinet maker in Italy in the 1960s?! They made an excellent clarinet for Star Band Instruments Company.
There is a Star Music Company in Columbia, SC, but this instrument was used in the mid-west (Arkansas, I think). Was there a Star Music company once in Oklahoma?

Intonation results taken when playing loud and not lipping. See how to interpret these results on the Model Comparison Page.
For this test, I pulled 1.75mm at the barrel and 0 in the center for this horn.
Intonation summary: This is great intonation, or it will be when I do some undercutting to fix the upper throat tones.
Key work quality: Fair quality nickel keys. They are thinner than average but unbent from the original owner. And they don’t shine as brightly as the top quality nickel. Assemble and disassemble with care.
This clarinet is most appropriate for: Anyone who will take care in assembling and disassembling.
